The truth is that I’m fidgeting a lot when I’m staying in one place for more than a few weeks at a time. As soon as I am finished with one adventure, I can’t wait to start another!
My passion for travel started in 2001 when I relocated to Canada. Since then I’ve been moving back and forth between Canada, England, Spain and Romania and I can’t say I have found a place to call it home yet. One perk of living in Europe is that budget airlines and short distances make travel so easy and available to almost everyone!
I feel that while I am still young I need to travel and see as much of the world as I can and decide later what place suits me the most. I think the urgency for travelling was enforced when I had a back surgery in 2014. As I “learned” to walk again I realised how precious every moment is, and that I should take advantage of any time I have to enjoy all the world has to offer. That being said, 3 months after my surgery I took the long trip from Romania to Thailand to see a dear friend. Still on medication and dealing with a lot of pain and difficulty walking long distances, it was a scary trip and a risk to take, but I made it!
I hope my travel stories will inspire you to travel as well!
